1h30: N.Y Knicks (19-20) - Boston Celtics (19-18)
The Boston Celtics (19-18) will play the New York Knicks (19-20) in Madison Square Garden in New York City on Tuesday.
The Celtics are 1-0 versus the Knicks this season, but will attempt to break a three game losing streak when they travel to the Garden. They have not scored 100 or greater in any three of these recent losses, and will likely need to find some flow on the offensive end, as well as a better defensive effort in order to succeed. They have no injuries, and are led on the offensive end by guards Isaiah Thomas and Avery Bradley, who are averaging 21.1 and 14.7 points per game, respectively. On the defensive end, Jae Crowder and Marcus Smart lead Boston in the steals category with 1.9 and 1.8 per game respectively.
The Knicks may have lost the first meeting between these two teams, but have won four of their last five games due to a recent spurt of flowing offense. Carmelo Anthony is the team's most consistent and highest scorer, averaging 21.7 points per game, but rookie sensation Kristaps Porzingis has been picking up his game lately, scoring in double digits in the Knicks' past six contests. If they can keep this up, they may be able to overcome the Celtics, and bring the series to 1-1.

The Houston Rockets (19-19) go on the road for an intra-divisional matchup versus the Memphis Grizzlies (21-18) at FedExForum on Tuesday.
Houston comes into the contest as winners of three straight, their second-best such streak this season. The Rockets edged the Indiana Pacers in their most recent victory, a hard-fought 107-103 overtime win Sunday. Trevor Ariza led the way with a season-high 24 points, and also added five rebounds. The scoring haul included an impressive 5-for-9 performance from long range. Dwight Howard, who'd been questionable heading into the night with a back injury, exploded for an impressive 21-point, 17-rebound double-double, his fifth such performance. James Harden and Patrick Beverley rounded out a very productive night for the Houston starting five with respective 21-point and 16-point tallies. The Rockets will come into the game in relatively full health, with only Ty Lawson (suspension) and Donatas Motiejunas (back) out of action.
Memphis comes in having won two straight games, and five of their last seven. Four of those victories have come at home, with the most recent a 101-98 nail-biter versus the Celtics on Sunday. Boston carried a 76-68 lead into the fourth quarter before the Grizzlies mounted a furious comeback. Zach Randolph gave Memphis a shot in the arm on offense in starting the second half in place of the struggling Jeff Green, and finished with 25 points and 13 rebounds, a performance reminscent of some of the 15-year veteran's dominating outings throughout the years. Mario Chalmers and Tony Allen, who were each starting their second consecutive games in place of the sidelined Mike Conley (Achilles) and Courtney Lee (hip), also made vital contributions. The former stuffed the stat sheet with 18 points, five rebounds, four assists and a pair of steals, while the latter posted a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double. With a victory, the Grizzlies will hope to gain ground on the second-place Dallas Mavericks in the Southwest Division, which they currently trail by 1.5 games.

Grizzlies: Mike Conley (?), Courtney Lee (?), Jarell Martin, Brandan Wright, Jordan Adams
Rockets: Ty Lawson, Donatas Motiejunas, Sam Dekker
Les absences (incertaines) de Mike Conley et de Courtney Lee seront déterminantes pour Memphis.

The Cleveland Cavaliers (26-9) will play the Dallas Mavericks (22-16) at American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX on Tuesday.
Many people overlook LeBron James for MVP considerations with all the new studs in the NBA, but he's playing like an MVP right now. Over his last six games, he is averaging nearly 28 points per game and shooting well over 50 percent from the field. He is also doing a great job of playing distributor, even with Kyrie Irving back in the fold. That's what makes this team so scary, not only do they have arguably the best player in our generation, they have two other superstars on the roster. Cleveland comes into this game in the midst of a seven-game winning streak and much of that success has to be credited to the elite defense they are playing. The Cavaliers rank third in points allowed and that is always the biggest emphasis when James speaks about his team. This should be a an interesting game for James, as he'll be facing a Mavericks team that ended his first stint in Cleveland in the 2007 NBA Finals.
Dallas comes into this matchup winning three of their last four, albeit against some terrible competition. This type of game will be a better barometer of where this team is at right now and it should be interesting to see them against a fully healthy Cleveland squad. Dirk Nowitzki is one of the only remaining players from that 2007 team that beat Cleveland and he'll hope to carry over his recent form into this game. Nowitzki is averaging 24 points and six rebounds per game over his last four games. The Mavericks come into this game as a six-point underdog and they have covered five of their last six games when being a six-point dog or higher.
