1h : Orlando Magic - Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets (9-22) close out 2015 with a trip to Florida on Wednesday to meet the Orlando Magic (18-13).

Despite their general ineptitude in the first third of the season, the Nets recorded two surprising road victories in the last week, first against the Chicago Bulls and again on Monday night in Miami, dropping the Heat by a score of 111-105. Both Brook Lopez and bench player Wayne Ellington put up 26 points for Brooklyn, with Ellington draining seven of nine triples. Lopez added 12 rebounds to help the team log only its third away win of the year. Lopez has been one of only a handful of bright spots for the Nets in 2015, averaging a team-leading 19.3 points and 8.3 rebounds this season. Typically abysmal from long range (where they rank fifth-worst in the league), the Nets were 52.2% from downtown in the match-up.

Winners of six of their last eight games, the Magic made quick work of the visiting New Orlean Pelicans on Monday night, 104-89, improving to 11-6 at Amway Center. Nikola Vucevic had a team-best 28 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists in the win, while Evan Fournier recorded 20 points while going 7 of 12 from the paint. As a unit, the team shot an impressive 54.9% from the field, indicative of their sixth-best league standing in field goal percentage. The Magic shot 43.8% in the month of November and improved to 48.4% in December, bad news for the other teams in the competitive Southeast Division where Orlando currently sit in third place, one game behind the division-leading Atlanta Hawks.

La dernière rencontre des Nets contre les Magic, Brooklyn  avait pris cher... 82-105 au Barclays Center.

Brooklyn s’était imposé a Miami le 29/12.

1h : Charlotte Hornets - Los Angeles Clippers

The streaky Los Angeles Clippers (19-13) spend Wednesday night in Charlotte to take on the Hornets (17-13).

Last week the Clippers were 6-7 on the road. Heading into Wednesday's contest they are 9-7 away from the Staples Center after stringing together three consecutive road wins, the latest coming against the Washington Wizards on Monday night. Chris Paul led the charge in the 108-91 victory with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists, while Jamal Crawford came off the bench for 21 points, shooting 9-for-12 from the field. DeAndre Jordan posted 15 points and 13 rebounds as L.A. holds steady at second place in the Pacific Division, a full 11 games behind Golden State. The Clippers shot 52.6% from the paint in the match-up, and boast the sixth-best field goal percentage in the NBA, averaging 45.8% per game. Los Angeles rounds out their road trip and calendar year on Thursday when they visit the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Hornets are hoping to put a disappointing December behind them after a hot start to their 2015-16 campaign. They are headed in the right direction after two straight wins, including 108-98 victory over the visiting Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night. Kemba Walker had a huge night for the club, dropping 38 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists while helping Charlotte move to an impressive 13-5 record at home. Walker leads the Hornets with an average of 18.5 points per game this season. Despite the W, the team struggled from long-range, making only 6 of 25 attempts from beyond the arc. When playing away from the Time Warner Cable Arena, Charlotte has won only four games this season, a trend they hope to put to an end at the start of 2016 as they play six of their first eight games of the year on the road. The Hornets stand at fourth place in the Southeast Division.

Malgré l'absence de Blake Griffin, on voit les Clippers remporté le match, Charlotte qui reste en difficulté dans ses dernier matchs (cinq défaites des huit derniers matches).

1h30 : Boston Celtics - Los Angeles Lakers

An old rivalry is reignited in Boston on Wednesday night as the Los Angeles Lakers (5-27) visit the surging Celtics (18-13).

The Lakers are seeing of 2015 much the same way as they started it, with another check in the loss column. The team continued their road trip after falling to the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night, 108-98, despite a team-leading 20 points from Kobe Bryant. Bryant went 3-for-12 from long range but put in 7 of 8 shots from the foul line. The team struggled to find their rhythm all game, an issue that has plagued them since the start of the season, as they shot 41.2% from the field and 31% from beyond the arc. The Lakers' inefficiency extends beyond shooting, where they possess the dubious distinction of being the worst defense and second-worst offense in the NBA. L.A. is allowing opponents to score an average of 107.3 point on them per game, while scoring an average of 96.3 points. The team will play the first six of eight match-ups of the new year at the Staples Center, the first of which will be on January 1st against the lowly Philadelphia 76ers.

Despite a few bumps in the road in December, including a 3-4 stretch, the Celtics have returned to form are a threatening to unseat the Toronto Raptors as the top team in the Atlantic Division, who they are only a game-and-a-half behind. Boston is riding a four-game winning streak, the latest victory coming at home over the New York Knicks on Sunday night, 100-91. The team's leading scorer throughout the season, Isaiah Thomas, once again led the way with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists, making 8 of 10 shots from the charity stripe. Evan Turner played off the bench for 18 points, going 8-for-11 from the paint. The team's bench will receive a boost on Wednesday as Marcus Smart suits up again after missing 18 games with a leg injury. The guard returned on Sunday's game and played 13 minutes, scoring 6 points.

Logiquement Boston gagne mais Méfiance sur ce match.

1h30 : Toronto Raptors - Washington Wizards

The Washington Wizards (14-15) and Raptors face off in an Eastern Conference showdown on Wednesday night in Toronto (19-13).

After a rough start to their season, the Wizards have apparently stumbled on a formula for success, winners of four of their last five contests. Their latest outing ended in a 108-91 home defeat at the hands of the Los Angeles Clippers, however, despite 23 points and 11 assists from John Wall. Otto Porter, Jr. came off the bench to add 21 points and 8 rebounds while shooting 8 of 12 from the field and 3 of 5 from beyond the arc. Marcin Gortat recorded 12 points and hauled in 16 boards for Washington in a performance that marked his 16th double-double of the season. Gortat is averaging 9.5 rebounds this year. The Wizards and Raptors will meet again in a week when Toronto visits the Verizon Center on January 8th.

The Raptors have been inconsistent at the tail end of 2015, trading wins and losses and coming up short on the road against the Chicago Bulls on Monday night, 104-97. Kyle Lowry had 28 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists in the loss, shooting 9 of 15 from field goal range. He didn't receive much help from his teammates, as he accounted for half of Toronto's six made shots from downtown. The match-up saw the return to the lineup for Jonas Valanciunas, who missed 17 games for the Raptors with a broken hand. He recorded 9 points in 21 minutes played. The team is currently in fourth place in the Eastern Conference.

Les Raptors avait gagner au buzzer le 29/11 a Washington 84 : 82 !

2h : Chicago Bulls - Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers (18-12) will take on Central Division rival Chicago Bulls (17-12) on Wednesday at the United Center in Chicago.

After dropping three straight games the Pacers have rattled off two victories in a row. There more recent win came on Monday against the Hawks by a score of 93-87, snapping the Hawks' six-game win streak. Monta Ellis led the way with 26 points (10-20 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two assists, and two steals in 36 minutes. After winning player of the month in November, Paul George has been in a slump lately, scoring less than 18 points since December 19. Jordan Hill is out for Wednesday's game after undergoing dental procedures. C.J. Miles is listed as questionable after missing Monday's game with a sore back. Myles Turner is also questionable for Wednesday with a finger injury after being cleared to play by team doctors on Monday. The Pacers are 1-1 against the Bulls this season. They were victorious in their most recent matchup on November 27, by a score of 104-92.

The Bulls won the first game in three-game homestand on Monday against the Raptors by a score of 104-97. Pau Gasol had 22 points (8-14 FG, 6-8 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, three blocks, and a steal in 30 minutes. Tony Snell added 22 points (8-14 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, and one block in 27 minutes off the bench. Snell could continue to see more action on Wednesday if Doug McDermott is ruled out with a right knee strain that kept him out of Monday's win. The Bulls are 12-5 at home this season.

Chicago sont très bon a domicile, mais Indiana peuvent les accroché. Avec un bon Derrick Rose cela devrait le faire !

2h : Minnesota Timberwolves - Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz (13-16) will take on Northwest Division rival Minnesota Timberwolves (11-20) on Wednesday night at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

The Jazz snapped a two-game losing streak against the 76ers on Monday by a score of 95-91. Gordon Hayward led the way with 24 points (6-21 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 10-11 FT), six rebounds, four assists, two steals, and a block in 37 minutes. Jeff Whitney got the start at center on Monday after Derrick Favors missed his second consecutive game with back spasms. Whitney posted his first double-double of the season with 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-4 FT), 12 rebounds, two blocks, two steals, and an assist in just under 24 minutes. Favors hopes to play on Wednesday but ultimately is listed as questionable. Alec Burks underwent surgery on his fractured left fibula on Tuesday, which will hold him out for at least six weeks. The injury-plagued Jazz will look to secure a victory in their first matchup with Minnesota this season after going 3-1 against them last year.

It's safe to say the Timberwolves are looking forward to the New Year as they are 3-11 so far in the month of December. Their most recent loss came on Monday against the Spurs by a score of 101-95. Andrew Wiggins had 18 points (8-18 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-8 FT), six rebounds, two steals, and an assist in 37 minutes. Ricky Rubio had a game-high 14 assists, along with seven points (2-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four steals, and three rebounds in 37 minutes. Tayshaun Prince, Kevin Garnett, and Karl-Anthony Towns all added 10 points in the loss. The Timberwolves are a dismal 4-12 in front of their home-crowd this season.

Les Jazz commence a avoir une infirmerie qui se remplie... Gobert , Dante Exum, Alec Burks !! les loups vont t-il en croquer d'autre ? attention.

2h30 : San Antonio Spurs - Phoenix Suns

The Phoenix Suns (12-21) on Wednesday face the host San Antonio Spurs (27-6), who are undefeated at AT&T Center this season.

The sky is falling in Phoenix and it's easy to see why. The whole Markieff Morris saga was hanging over this team for months and that hit a forefront last week with him being suspended for throwing a towel at the coach. If that's not bad enough, the Suns best player Eric Bledsoe recently got surgery for a torn meniscus and will miss the remainder of the season. Not to mention, their biggest offseason signing of Tyson Chandler has been a huge dud. This was a team expected to compete for a playoff spot in the west and they look like near guarantees for some ping pong balls come June. They desperately need Markieff Morris and Brandon Knight to pull out of their slumps and carry this team on their backs. Until that happens, this may be one of the worst teams in the Western Conference.

Everything just written about the Suns are things that would never happen with the Spurs. No player would throw a towel at Gregg Popovich and if they did, they would be cut immediately. If a player got injured, someone would step up in their absence ad the team wouldn’t miss a beat. That's the beauty of this team as the system is nearly perfect and works year after year. What has made them so special this season is the defense, as they rank first in every significant defensive statistic. What's even scarier is that they are undefeated at home this season and winning games on average by over 20 points a game. That streak looks likely to continue here, as they come into this matchup as a 14-point favorite.

Les Spurs a domicile c'est du solide.. 5 défaites consécutive des Suns ...Rien ne va à Phoenix en ce moment.

2h30 : Dallas Mavericks - Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors (29-1) will take on the Dallas Mavericks (18-13) on Wednesday night at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

If there ever were a game in which the dominant Warriors fall, it would be on Wednesday. Golden State is dealing with a plethora of injuries which could leave them with very limited numbers. Harrison Barnes and Leandro Barbosa have already been ruled out. Festus Ezeli is a game-time decision for Wednesday as he continues to deal with a lingering foot injury. Draymond Green is dealing with an ankle injury, but is expected to play, although he could be limited. Finally, reigning MVP Stephen Curry may sit out of Wednesday's game after missing Tuesday's practice with an undisclosed lower leg injury. Curry had his first triple-double of the season in the Warriors' 122-103 victory over the Kings on Monday. He had 23 points (7-16 FG, 6-13 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 14 rebounds, 10 assists, and two steals in 30 minutes. This will be the Warriors first matchup of the season with Dallas.

The Mavericks have rattled off three straight victories, with the most recent coming on Monday against the Bucks by a score of 103-93. Wesley Matthews led the way with 22 points (6-10 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds, and two assists in 32 minutes. Deron Williams may return to the court on Wednesday after missing three-straight games with a hamstring injury. J.J. Barea has averaged 22 points per game in Williams three-game absence. Chandler Parsons moved into the starting lineup in Monday's win as he has been gradually returning to a full workload after undergoing microfracture surgery in the offseason. The Mavericks are 9-5 at home this season.

Golden State ne devrait pas se faire surprendre par Dallas.. A savoir de combien de points  si Curry est en feu en 3 points...

4h : Portland Trail Blazers - Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets (12-20) will play the Portland Trail Blazers (13-20) at the Moda Center in Portland, OR on Wednesday.

Denver is hurting right now, in the win-loss column and in the training room. They have lost four of their last five games and that correlates with some injury issues. They lost Danilo Gallinari and Emmanuel Mudiay last week to varying injuries and it's clearly hampering the team. They are also missing players like Wilson Chandler and Jusuf Nurkic as well. The offense looks downright bad right now, as they scored just 87 points in a loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday. The only true threat on offense right now is Will Barton and he's been coming off the bench all season. There's a lot of talent on this team, but they won't be winning games until everyone is fully healthy.

The Blazers are having some similar issues. The one difference is that they have just one injury, albeit their most valuable player. Damian Lillard has been dealing with some plantar fascia issues and prior to the injury, he was one of the league leaders in usage rate. The one positive of his absence is the emergence of C.J. McCollum, who had the best game of his career on Monday. McCollum flirted with a triple-double against the Sacramento Kings and finished with a cool 35 points in an impressive win. This may be one of the best backcourts in the NBA with McCollum and Lillard, but they won't be a threat until Lillard is back and fully healthy. Look for Portland to be a small favorite coming into this matchup.

Portland viennent de gagner contre Cleveland ( Les cadres était au repos en temps de jeu attention) et Sacramento ! une 3 victoire de suite ?

Sacramento Kings - Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers (2-31) will take on the Sacramento Kings (12-19) at the Sleep Train Arena on Wednesday in a battle of two of the most underachieving franchises in the NBA.

The Sixers have had a terrible season, but things are slowly turning around. Since the acquisition of Ish Smith, the team has gone 1-1 and nearly pulled out a big road win in their last game. They lost to the Utah Jazz by two points and got a big double-double from Smith. The Sixers have really struggled finding a consistent ball handler all season and it appears Smith will be their go-to guy for the near future. Rookie Jahlil Okafor is questionable for this game and once he's back, this Philly team will become even more competitive.

The Kings have much more talent than this Philly team, but they just aren’t playing good basketball. They have lost three of their last four games and are playing some atrocious defense. Sacramento ranks 29th in defense and regularly allows 110-plus points a game. The weird thing about this team is the talent it possesses, as DeMarcus Cousins and Rajon Rondo are looking like All-Star candidates. It's hard to put a finger on what's wrong with this team, but it appears to be effort at this point. With all that said, this may be their best chance at a win all season, as they come into this game as a double-digit favorite.

Philadelphie peuvent profitez de la mauvaise forme du moment des Kings mais match sans intérêt. (Absence a Philadelphie Okafor )
